100 Gallon Tanganykan Biotope

Planted tank are a bit of a time consuming tanks, There I was starting three years ago my first African tank. African Chichlids are amazing to grow, breed and simply observe. This is completely different than my other planted tanks.

In this tank there are two schools of Lamprologus brichardi, one school of Lamprologus lelupi and a few pieces of Julidochromis dickfeldi. These guys are always on the 'need for speed' they mess things up, they breed and breed, and soon after the tank setup the schools were starting to form. As territorial fish, it was amazing the learn and observe their behavior - just as they were in nature. Chichlids are indeed something unique and so special to grow.
